A new Facebook page has been set up to call attention to an 11-year-old mystery.
It is the Bartlett Police Department's only cold case, and it is a story that starts with a basketball game and ends with a doctor's disappearance.
It was January 4, 2002. Back then, the Grizzlies still played in the Pyramid. Dr. Cherryl Pearson attended the game that night before returning home alone.
Reportedly she went home and spoke to a few of her girlfriends on the phone.
Investigators believe the last person to make contact with Cherryl Pearson actually called her from a payphone at a gas station about a block from her home.
Police found her car four-days later, but she was never seen or heard from again.
Pearson was legally declared dead in 2009 though her remains have never been found.
Anyone with information regarding the missing pediatrician should contact the FBI Field Office in Memphis at (901) 747-4300.
Pearson's parents have contributed to a $41,000 dollar reward fund.
