City hosting Fall Citizens Police Academy | News
(WMC-TV) - The Bartlett Police Department is now accepting applications for its Fall Citizens Police Academy, through August 31.
The academy is a free, 10-day course, designed to educate citizens, and give them a "hands on" opportunity to observe and understand law enforcement.
A variety of subjects will be covered in the course, from dispatch communications to jail operations.
The class is limited to 20 students, with meetings every Monday night, from September 10 through November 5.
You can pick up and return applications at either the Bartlett Station Municipal Center, 5868 Stage Rd., or at Police Headquarters, 3730 Appling Rd.
