Special event providing food to hundreds of hungry Memphians | Community Spirit

(WMC-TV) - For the eleventh year, the Memphis Union Mission is holding a massive event that will feed more than 500 needy people and Bartlett churches are helping.
The 11th Annual Inner City Outreach started Sunday and will run through Friday. Volunteers will serve dinner and hand out clothing and personal care items nightly at Memphis Union Mission, 383 Union Ave., nightly. A worship service will start at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Highpoint Church and New Hope Christian Church, both in Bartlett, are among several Mid-South churches sponsoring the event, including: Kirby Woods Baptist Church, Highpoint Church, Global Ministries Fellowship, Fellowship Memphis Church and Collierville First Baptist Church.
