The Sisterhood Showcase was founded by Grace Magazine publisher Tina Birchett, and she takes great pride in being able to do this annually.
“Each year I try to present something women can enjoy and appreciate. This year’s theme is “Pursuit of Excellence” and we hope to reinforce the importance of doing your best in spite of what obstacles you may be faced with,” says Birchett. “This is an opportunity to leave your problems behind and come have some safe, reasonably priced, wholesome fun that you, your girlfriends and your entire family can enjoy. You will leave refreshed with a bag full of giveaways, wonderful items you’ve purchased, and memories from the unbelievable entertainment we have lined up.”
The Sisterhood Showcase’s two days of events offer something for everyone. The Men Who Define Fine Fashion Show and Macy’s Fashion Show are an annual crowd favorite. The Health Pavilion provides free health screenings and attendees can learn how to whip up some amazing dishes at the Celebrity Chef Cooking Stage with Chef Johnny Franklin of Kiss My Grits, Chef Jerrold Brooks of Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino and others. Additional musical performances include Memphis’ beloved musical group, Trio Plus, and “The Bad Boy of Southern Soul,” TK Soul. Literary lovers can spend time with two New York Times bestselling book authors. Zane will sign her newest book, Total Eclipse of the Heart, and discuss her other roles as a publisher and creator, writer and executive producer of Cinemax TV’s, Zane’s Sex Chronicles. RM Johnson, author of the highly successful Million Dollar series and Why Men Fear Marriage, will be there as well.
